Unusual custom animal products

“I cannot find this anywhere” is a perfectly reasonable way to start a custom enquiry.

Cannot find the animal product you need? Oddball Animal Works considers unusual custom animal products, habitat accessories, soft goods and purpose-made practical pieces.

Problem solving

Describe what is missing.

Start with the inconvenience, limitation or wish-list item. The solution may use one material or several approaches, depending on what the job actually requires.

We do not need you to specify how it is made

The better first question is what the finished piece needs to do, how it will be used and what practical constraints matter.

Animal

Who is using it?

Species, size and intended use help frame the discussion.

Space

Where does it need to work?

Photos and rough dimensions keep the idea grounded.

Routine

How will you care for it?

Cleaning, removability and handling can influence the brief.

Clear boundaries

Custom does not mean anything goes.

If a proposed use, material or design is not a responsible fit for the intended environment, we would rather say so than force the idea into production.

Start with a rough idea

Screenshots, sketches, links and “I need something that…” descriptions are welcome. The enquiry exists to work out whether the idea is practical before you commit.

Assessment

Check feasibility

An enquiry is not an automatic promise that every idea can or should be made.

Scope

Agree the outcome

Price, dimensions and important inclusions are confirmed separately.

Project record

Stay organised

Files, changes and customer-safe updates can remain attached to the project.

Common questions

Useful answers before you enquire.

Custom work starts with context. If you are unsure about a measurement or detail, leave it uncertain rather than guessing and we can tell you what matters.

Can I enquire about something not listed on the website?

Yes. Choose the “Other custom animal product” option and explain what you wish existed.

Do I need a finished drawing?

No. A sketch or reference image can help, but plain language is enough for the first conversation.

Does an enquiry mean you have accepted the job?

No. We first assess whether the idea fits our capabilities, then confirm scope, price and timing separately.
