Pretty picture + real-life context.
The strongest brief is usually a mixture of “I like the feel of this” and “here is the actual problem in my enclosure.” Both are useful for different reasons.
The awkward gap, unused height, cleaning headache, missing route or place where a standard product almost fits.
Texture, colour, shape, a landscape feeling, a route or a detail. References can communicate a lot faster than paragraphs.
Circle it. Draw an arrow. Write “HERE.” You are not submitting architectural plans — you are helping us understand the thought.
