See what better use of an enclosure can look like.
A good backdrop or habitat feature should solve something: wasted height, awkward access, poor routes, nowhere sensible to hide equipment, or a layout that simply does not suit the animal. These are the kinds of details we think about before anything is sculpted.

Getting a finished project home
Big backdrop? Keep the last step simple.
LOCAL-FIRST HANDOVER
Large sculpted pieces are easier to protect when they stay out of freight networks. For most backdrop projects, collection is the normal starting point — with direct-fit and installation options when they make more sense.

We finish the piece, you collect it, and we can talk through fit, sections and self-install details before it leaves us. It keeps a large custom build out of parcel and freight handling whenever possible.

More than a textured wall
A backdrop can be part of the whole habitat system.
For the right project, the backdrop can be planned around water, humidity, climbing, lighting, sensors and future servicing — rather than adding those things afterward and hoping they fit.

Why Oddball exists
It started with animals we genuinely care about.
Oddball Animal Works grew from living with and caring for animals ourselves, noticing the little compromises that appear when a product was designed for an average enclosure instead of the real one in front of you.
That is why we want the finished piece to feel considered, useful and personal — not mass-produced with a “custom” label stuck on the end.
