Fit first
A backdrop has to work with the actual enclosure.
For fitted work we care about internal usable space, tracks, braces, vents, silicone, lighting positions and other obstructions. That is why the final cut plan comes after the useful measurements are confirmed.
Rear-only or more involved layouts
A project can be as simple as a rear background or expand into ledges, routes, hides, plant pockets and other agreed features. The point is not to add complexity for its own sake — it is to make the space more useful.

Ledges, basking positions and pathways can be considered together.
Practical access
Cleaning, doors, vents and equipment remain part of the brief.
Design direction
Texture and colour matter — but function comes first.
Reference images are useful for showing warm sandstone, layered rock, lush textures, cleaner modern finishes or another visual direction. They help communicate the feeling you want without turning the job into an exact-copy exercise.
Customer installation is possible
If the project is being supplied for you to install, tell us early. Piece size, labelling, instructions, packaging and installation assumptions can then be considered in the quote.

Do I need exact measurements before enquiring?
No. Rough dimensions are enough for the first conversation. Final fitted work needs the important usable measurements confirmed before cutting.
Can the backdrop include ledges and hides?
Yes, where appropriate to the brief. Ledges, routes, hides, pockets and other features can be discussed as part of the project scope.
Can you supply a backdrop for me to install myself?
Yes, depending on the project. Tell us during the enquiry so installation format, piece size and customer instructions can be considered from the start.
